France is not the only European country on full alert regarding mounting violence targeting Jewish communities ... In recent weeks, Germany, which is home to Europe’s third largest Jewish community, is seeing an uptick in anti-Semitic attacks, with some Pro-Palestinian rallies turning violent. Since the October 7 Hamas attack on Israel, German authorities and Chancellor Olaf Scholz have underlined that anti-Semitism “has no place in Germany”. For a country responsible for the Holocaust, Israel’s security is state policy. But German Jews are increasingly worried for their safety.
