Al-Hassan Hamad

Israel has officially designated the Hezbollah-linked financial institution Al-Qard Al-Hassan as a terrorist organization. This decision comes after Israel conducted strikes on several branches of the institution across Lebanon.

The Israeli defense ministry released a statement on Monday, stating that the designation is part of a broader campaign aimed at targeting the economic resources of Hezbollah and other terrorist organizations. According to intelligence reports, Al-Qard Al-Hassan has been utilized to finance Hezbollah's operations through activities such as purchasing munitions, paying salaries to terrorists, and storing Hezbollah funds.

The Israel Defense Forces spokesperson, Daniel Hagari, accused Al-Qard Al-Hassan of violating international law and highlighted that the institution has already faced sanctions from the United States and other Western countries.
