The Israel Defense Forces reported that approximately 10 launches were detected from south Lebanon on Saturday. Sirens were activated five times on Saturday morning, according to the IDF's Telegram channel.
In response to the launches, the IDF conducted airstrikes targeting a Hezbollah structure in the area of Ayta ash Shab. Additionally, an individual described as a 'terrorist who operated in Hezbollah terrorist infrastructure' in the area of Kfarkela in southern Lebanon was also struck by aircraft.
Conflict persists along Lebanon's southern border with Israel, where Hezbollah, a Lebanese armed group supported by Iran, is primarily active. As a precautionary measure, Israel has issued evacuation orders for communities located along the Lebanese border.
Following the commencement of the Hamas-Israel war on October 7, tensions between Israel and Hezbollah have escalated in the border region, leading to increased military activity and security concerns.
