Israel has announced that it is carrying out additional airstrikes in southern Lebanon, as confirmed by the Israeli military in a statement released on Monday.
This development follows Israel's recent statement that it had targeted 150 Hezbollah sites and advised civilians to evacuate areas where the Iran-backed militant group is active in anticipation of more strikes.
According to Lebanon's health ministry, one person was killed and six others were injured in the Israeli airstrikes that took place earlier on Monday.
