So, football.london has taken a look at the players out of contract this summer that Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham could potentially make a move for ahead of next season.
Isco
Real Madrid midfielder Isco has confirmed that he will be leaving the club as a free agent this summer. The Spaniard has previously been linked with moves to Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham although it remains to be seen whether either of the trio will make another move for his services.
Initial reports suggest a move to Jose Lopetegui's Sevilla is on the cards but nothing is confirmed as yet and the three London clubs could still potentially reignite their interest. In the meantime, Isco has sent an emotional farewell to Madrid.
Paulo Dybala
Paulo Dybala has confirmed that he will leave Juventus at the end of the season once his contract with the Old Lady expires in the summer. The 28-year-old, who has been heavily linked with a move to Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham in recent times, announced his decision to part ways with the Italian giants, via a heartfelt message on Twitter.
In February, Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham, Liverpool, Manchester United and Manchester City were all offered the chance to sign Dybala on a pre-contract agreement, according to 90Min. However, nothing came of it.
Reports in Italy claim that the Argentine could be set for a move to Inter Milan, though nothing has been confirmed yet. But, according to Calciomercato, via Football Italia, Dybala's agent, Jorge Antun, was in London earlier this month to discuss a potential move with interested Premier League clubs.
Ousmane Dembele
football.london understand that Chelsea are interested in Dembele and could move for him this summer, though the Blues will need to make way for his arrival with the sales of an attacker. The France international, who sees his contract at the Camp Nou expire in the coming weeks, has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League this season, with Arsenal often named among the sides in the race too.
Despite reports of a move for Dembele in January, Tuchel has insisted there was no approach from the west Londoners. "I did not have contact with Ousmane. There was no contact in winter," he said. "I'm very satisfied because it was a calm window, and to be calm is always the best thing."
The 25-year-old is yet to agree new terms with the Catalan side and is poised to leave on a free transfer at the end of the month
Christian Eriksen
Christian Eriksen is just one of many players who have been rumoured as potential targets for Tottenham this summer. The Dane signed a six month deal with Brentford in January, meaning the contract is soon to expire.
Earlier this month, the 30-year-old outlined his desire to return to the Champions League stage. With both Chelsea and Spurs qualified, he admitted: "I would love to play Champions League football again, I know how much fun it is, but it isn’t essential for me."
Last month, football.london reported that although the Dane didn't leave the north London club on the best terms with the club's hierarchy, he still loves the club and would like to stay in London.
