Furthermore, Welltower's normalized funds from operations increased 17.7% year-over-year to $1.13 per share, exceeding the Street's expectations, which boosted investor confidence.
Moreover, the company also outperformed its top rival Ventas, Inc.'s (VTR) surge of 8% over the past six months and 55.9% over the past 52 weeks.
Observing Welltower's solid performance, analysts remain extremely bullish on the company's prospects. WELL stock has a consensus “Strong Buy” rating among the 19 analysts covering it. WELL’s mean price target of $72.89 implies a 7.4% potential upside from the current market prices.
