Update: Tyreek Hill is active and will play vs. the Browns
Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill is questionable for Week 17 due to a wrist injury he’s dealt with since August. Earlier this week, Dolphins wide receivers coach Wes Welker also revealed that the receiver is dealing with an ankle injury; however, he’s not listed on the injury report with that issue.
Tyreek Hill injury update
Hill has made frequent appearances on the injury report this season, but hasn’t missed any games. While Hill was limited in all three practices this week, Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel gave no indication that the receiver was in danger of missing the game Sunday.
“I thought he had a phenomenal week of practice,” McDaniel said Friday. “Not only from an execution of assignment perspective, but the way he attacked the ball. … He had a very aggressive week of practice which was very encouraging to see because he didn’t blink and that’s the only way to handle short comings in your game.”
It’d be a surprise if Hill was unable to play against the Cleveland Browns.
Dolphins WR depth chart
It’d be costly if Hill is out of action, as the team’s other starting wide receiver, Jaylen Waddle, is also banged up and questionable due to a knee injury. Behind that duo is rookie Malik Washington, veteran River Cracraft, return specialist Dee Eskridge, and Erik Ezukanma, who was signed from the team’s practice squad Saturday.
