The popular social media site Twitter appears to be down for users, as many cannot access their accounts or see any updates. When trying to access Twitter, the error message 'Something went wrong. Try reloading' appears.
It's caused thousands and thousands to search as to why this is the case. It appears to be a sitewide problem, with around 7,000 Twitter users in the 15 minutes between 12.45pm and 1pm on Thursday (July 14) afternoon trying to find out what is going on.

According to website Down Detector, the majority of these enquires have come from London and Birmingham, with a handful of this number searching what has happened in Nottinghamshire. Of problems reported, 52 percent of these have been through the mobile app, 44 percent have been through the website with four percent coming through the feed.
Tweetdeck, a tool used to monitor different aspects of Twitter, is also not working, and the error message 'this page isn't working, tweetdeck.twitter.com is currently unable to handle this request' appears. It is unknown how long this has been an issue for, or when it's likely to be fixed.
