With the recent news that another much-loved couple will be leaving their remote control and sofa behind on Gogglebox - Mica Ven and Marcus Lucas - we thought we would take a look at the families and friends that have come and gone over the last nine years of the show.
Can you believe that only two sets of the cast have appeared in all of the series? Yes, only Stephen Webb and members of the Siddiqui Family have been in the show since it started in 2013.
The award-winning hit Channel 4 TV programme has long been essential viewing either on a Friday night, when it is initially aired, or a perfect weekend morning watch to wake up to.

We all have our favourites and there have been many changes to the cast over the years from entire families leaving to others who have swapped their armchair partners. So sit back, grab a big mug of tea and take a look at who ditched their sofas for life after Gogglebox...
Mary and Marina
Mary and Marina were the two best friends from Bristol. The pals joined the show in 2016 and quickly won the hearts of viewers with their witty one-liners and, of course, their wine consumption.
The death of Mary in August 2021 signalled the end of their time on the show with Marina deciding not to continue without her best friend by her side.
The McCormick Family
Despite only appearing on the show since 2016, the McCormick family consisting of Georgia, Scott and son Issac, made their presence felt the second they were shown on screen, ranging from Georgia's quick wit to son Issac's Tourette's and his tics. Leaving the show two years ago, gave them space for a range of personal projects and Georgia retraining to be a hypnotherapist but the family hasn't ruled out future appearances on the show - so fingers crossed.
The Tapper family
The Tapper family were made up of mum Nikki and dad Jonathan as well and their children Amy and Josh, and were a part of the original series in 2013.
The first of the Tapper clan to depart was son Josh, who left the show for a career in politics in 2017 and, since 2020, has been working for a leading British think tank and charity.
Amy left a year later in 2018 to take part in Celebs Go Dating and her parents also went at the same time
Chris Ashby-Steed
When the show started in 2013, two of the most likeable characters were the hairdressing duo of Stephen Webb and Chris Ashby-Steed, who would have viewers in hysterics with their cutting and hilarious remarks.
However, the couple split but continued to film together up until 2018, when Chris left the show and Stephen brought his mother Pat in, and they now can be seen together with his new husband Daniel Lustig.
The Bottleys
Kate and Graham Bottley joined the show in 2014 and left in 2016 after five series.
Since leaving Gogglebox, the Rev'd Kate Bottley can be heard presenting alongside Jason Mohammed on BBC Radio 2's Good Morning Sunday, and is a regular on various panel shows as well as previously regularly presenting Songs Of Praise amongst others.
Leon and June
How can we talk about iconic Gogglebox cast members without mentioning favourites June and Leon Bernicoff. As part of the original cast that appeared in 2013, the couple became the face of the show.
It was only the death of Leon in December 2017, at the age of 83, that saw the end of their time on the show with June leaving as well saying that it wouldn't be the same without her husband at her side. June died in May 2020 at the age of 82 after a short illness.
The Moffatt family
Who could forget the Moffat family who joined the show in 2014. The County Durham family consisted of mum Betty and dad Mark along with daughter Scarlett.
The family were regulars on the show for two years when Scarlett took part in I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here back in 2016, which saw her crowned Queen of the Jungle and she became a TV presenter in her own right.
The Woerdenweber family
The Woerdenweber family joined the show back in 2013 for the second series. They were made up of German-born Ralf Woerdenweber, his British wife Viv and their daughter Eve, along with her boyfriend Jay.
The family has not been seen on the show since 2019, but we would love to see them back on their sofa with their straight-talking opinions.
Steph & Dom Parker
Another much-loved and missed couple is Steph and Dom Parker who were on the show from its inception in 2013 until 2016. The couple used to run a Grade I listed B&B called The Salutation, and they appeared in another Channel 4 hit programme Four In A Bed.
Since leaving the show, Dom has appeared in The Jump and Celebrity Masterchef, as well as Hunted where he was joined by his wife Steph.
Sandy and Sandra
Sandy Bogle and Sandra Martin were the Brixton-based friends who quickly became a hit with audiences in 2013. Sandy was the first of the pair to leave in 2016 when she appeared on shows such as Celebrity Big Brother and Celebrity Fit Farm.
Sandra followed a year later as it wasn't the same without her co-star on the couch. However, Sandra told the Sun: "I ended up homeless and penniless after Gogglebox. In October 2018, they gave me another flat in an old people’s home, in Hastings and then Birmingham." In February 2019, Sandra moved back to London.
The McGarry family
The McGarry family joined the show for series two and rapidly won the hearts of viewers. The family was made up of mum Linda, dad Pete and son George Gilbey.
The family was axed from the series when George joined the Celebrity Big Brother house in 2014. However, the family returned in 2016 and were regulars until 2020, although George left in 2018. Sadly, Pete died aged 71 after a short illness in June 2021.
The Michael family
The Michael family was there from the start, consisting of dad Andy, mum Carolyne, and two of their children, Louis and Alex. The family left the show altogether after the death of Andy, aged 61, in August 2021.
