Is there a Storm Darragh weather warning for Ross County vs Rangers?

Storm Darragh is set to continue to hit the United with strong wind and heavy rain overnight into Sunday.

The downpour led to public transport being impacted with trains from Glasgow Central affected due to the adverse weather and a Ferry stranded off the coast of Northern Ireland.

The Merseyside derby between Everton and Liverpool was also postponed on safety grounds as a result of the severe weather.

All five Scottish Premiership fixtures went ahead as planned on Saturday despite yellow warnings for rain issued by the Met Office.

While a yellow weather warning for wind is in effect overnight and into the early hours of Sunday in Glasgow and a large portion of Scotland, Dingwall is set to be unaffected for the match between Ross County and Rangers.

The Met Office have warned of the chance of damage to buildings, the possible closure of bridges and power cuts possible.

There is a small chance that injuries and danger to life could occur from large waves or flying debris with public transport to be affected by gutss of up to 80mph.

Thankfully, for those heading to Dingwall, the area is not forecast to be impacted by Storm Darragh winds or rain. As it stands there is no expectation that the match will be in danger of postponement.

While Glasgow, Edinbugh, Dundee and Aberdeen are all included in the yellow weather warnings - the forecast is clear in Inverness and Dingwall.

Rangers travel for a 12pm kick-off in the Highlands. Philippe Clement's side will be aiming to continue their form from a 6-0 win over Kilmarnock last time out.
