Is the Burger King ‘we don’t snitch’ tweet after Luigi Mangione McDonald’s arrest real?

If you’re scratching your head at the headline above, no worries. I got you.

To recap: Suspected UnitedHealthcare CEO killer Luigi Mangione was arrested in Altoona, Pennsylvania while at a McDonald’s.

Then, on Tuesday, an alleged viral tweet from Burger King’s started making the rounds: “We don’t snitch.”

Now, that would be a response to the arrest at McDonald’s IF IT WAS REAL. So if you’re here and wondering if it was? Nope. Fake. There’s even a community note on X (formerly Twitter) that said this: “Burger King did not post this, this is a digitally altered image.”

So there you have it.
