Former Corrie star Brooke Vincent has wowed fans after unveiling her new look. The soap star is known for her signature long locks - but it seems she decided the time was right for a change.
Brooke, famed for playing Sophie Webster, took to Instagram to show off the new bold chop.
The 30-year-old underwent her dramatic transformation at Manchester's Salon Fifty One before taking a mirror selfie to share with fans.
She captioned the picture: “This is not how I woke up. But it’s how I look now.”
It’s safe to say her fans are loving the new look, and even Brooke’s former colleague, Michelle Keegan, known for her Corrie role as Tina McIntyre, commented on the post in support of Brooke’s new change saying: “Oh yessssssss.”
Hollyoaks actress Nadine Mulkerrin, also commented on the post saying: “Short hair is way forward!! Looks lovely xx”
Instagram user chelseab1990 said “Sophie Webster is that you?” while mamaandarabella commented: “Omg a vibe.”
Brooke departed Weatherfield in 2019, after playing Sophie for over 15 starring in more than 1,000 episodes.
Last month, the Audenshaw-born actress compared life inside her house to a circus as she opened up about motherhood.
Brooke gave birth to her first son with her now-fiance Kean Bryan, called Mexx S J Bryan in October 2019.
Just over a year later, in November 2020, Brooke announced she was pregnant with her second child, Monroe, who was born in May 2021.
Brooke was flooded with questions on her Instagram about life as a mum when she opened up her Instagram DMs for a Q&A.
One follower asked her: "Would you recommend having two little ones so close together?"
After initially answering questions with worded replies, Brooke decided to appear on video to answer.
"I feel like I don't have enough space on my screen to write my answer," she laughed before saying: "Would I recommend it? To my friends, I'm like, 'No, don't do it!' But it's just utter chaos. I'm not going to lie, it's absolute chaos.
“Day in, day out is like a circus in my house. It's so hard and so challenging at times but then you have these moments where you just laugh and they make your heart so full. And looking at them bonding and their relationship grow and how they rely on each other is just really, really nice.
“People say to me when they're older they'll be so close and I can see that but sometimes it's so hard and it's so hard to pull your time and split that and mum guilt is a huge thing. But at the same time, it's amazing,” she said.
