Is superstar Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum in the NBA MVP conversation?

In a season that has been seeing Boston Celtics superstar forward Jayson Tatum start his 2022-23 campaign off with the sort of head of steam we have grown accustomed to working his way into over the course of the season, it begs the question juts how much better the St. Louis native will be by the end of the season.

Finding ways to score and impact the game on even bad shooting nights, Taco Jay’s passing, rebounding, and ability to get to the line are lining up with Tatum’s increased attention to thje defensive end of the court as well.

He might have a ways to go to catch up to a few hot starts around the league with regard to the 2022-2 scoring title, but it is getting increasingly hard not to consider the Duke alum a frontrunner for the 2023 Kia Most Valuable Player award.

The semi-eponymous hosts of the Jalen and Jacoby show Jalen Rose and David Jacoby recently debated Tatum’s MVP case on a recent episode.

Watch the clip embedded above to hear their thoughts on where he stands.
