Is Rick Ross going to be the next minority owner of the Dolphins?

Miami is a city that’s known for its culture.

Sports, music and nightlife are just a few of the things that have huge impacts on those from the area. This brings a number of celebrity fans of the local sports teams, and when it comes to the Miami Dolphins, that includes names like Pitbull, Darius Rucker and, of course, Rick Ross.

Ross was recently a special guest in Miami Gardens to watch the Dolphins OTAs, where he met a number of the players on the team. Just a few days earlier, the rapper tweeted to his fans to ask them if he should buy a stake in the team.

This wouldn’t be the first celebrity minority owner for the Dolphins. Singers Mark Anthony and Jennifer Lopez purchased a stake in the organization before their divorce. Both Venus and Serena Williams also bought a piece of the Dolphins, as did Gloria and Emilio Estefan.

Ross’ influence in Miami is huge, and, obviously, his work in the music industry could help guys like Melvin Ingram and Terron Armstead, who both make music, reach new heights in that field.
