THOUSANDS of online users have expressed frustration after major social media site Reddit went down.
The outages occurred on Monday afternoon, with over 7000 people reporting issues and counting, according to monitoring site Downdetector.com.
In an update online, Reddit said they were investigating the issue.

"We are currently investigating elevated errors across reddit.com and the apps," the statement read.
They have also since posted that the issue has been resolved.
