Is Match of the Day on TV tonight? How to watch Man City vs Arsenal and other highlights

Arsenal and Manchester City will face-off this evening in a highly-anticipated clash in the Premier League title race. The Gunners have the opportunity to race eight points clear at the top of the table against their title rivals - though Pep Guardiola's side do have two games in hand.

The game is certainly the game of the week throughout the midweek round of fixtures in the league. On Tuesday, there were three games that saw Wolves and Aston Villa pick up valuable wins whilst Leeds and Leicester played out a 1-1 draw.

On Wednesday, alongside the a potential title decider between Mikel Arteta and Guardiola's men, there are fixtures at both ends of the table to contend with. Nottingham Forest will be searching for a first win since February against Brighton & Hove Albion to leapfrog out of the bottom three whilst West Ham will be hoping to all-but confirm their safety with a win over Liverpool.

Elsewhere, Chelsea host Brentford at Stamford Bridge. There was no Match of the Day on Tuesday night to showcase the highlights of the fixtures, but the BBC show returns this evening, providing highlights of all seven games.

When is Match of the Day on?

The midweek instalment of Match of the Day will take place at 10:40pm live on BBC 1. It will also be available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
