Manchester United player Marcus Rashford is considered an injury doubt ahead of the Carabao up final against Newcastle United after sustaining an ankle injury against Barcelona in midweek.
Rashford, 25, was eventually replaced by Scott McTominay in the 88th minute on Thursday at Old Trafford after going to ground earlier in the second half but choosing to carry on after receiving treatment on the pitch. Manager Erik ten Hag has said he is unsure whether the player will be fit to start the final as his fitness continues to be assessed ahead of kick-off.
The forward has been named in the starting XI of United's last six matches since only featuring from the bench during their Carabao Cup semi-final second leg against Nottingham Forest. Rashford has scored six goals during that spell as the club have extended their current unbeaten run to nine games.

What Rashford has said
The player posted a worrying cryptic message to his Instagram story on Thursday night.
Rashford posted a photo of the player walking along the sideline at Old Trafford with his head down, carrying his left boot in his right hand. The post is accompanied by a single emoji depicting a frowning face with a head bandage wrapped around it (a screenshot of which is pictured).
What Ten Hag has said
"I don't know," the manager said when asked if Rashford would recover. "Players are now coming in; we have to do investigations, medical, of course, yesterday we did.
"So straight after a game, most of the time you can't say, you have to wait for a 100 per cent diagnosis. So let's do the medical, the work; we have to wait."
