Why isn't Manchester United vs Brentford on UK TV? Kick-off time and how to follow Premier League fixture

Manchester United have an immediate opportunity to respond after being beaten by Newcastle United over the weekend when Brentford arrive at Old Trafford this midweek.

The 2-0 loss at St James' Park saw United fall to fourth in the Premier League table as Newcastle leapfrogged them due to their far superior goal difference. Only one point now separates Erik ten Hag's team and managerless Tottenham Hotspur, albeit United still have a game in hand over Spurs.

Brentford are another six points behind in seventh place after moving ahead of Liverpool with a thrilling 3-3 draw with Brighton and Hove Albion, who sit sixth, last time out. The Bees could also complete a league double over United for the first time since the 1936/37 season, the penultimate time the Reds were relegated from the old Division One.

Can I watch the match in the UK?

In short, no. The game was not one of five matches selected for broadcast by BT Sport or Sky Sports, and that decision still stands for rearranged games. The visit of Brentford was originally due to take place on Sunday, 26 February, but United reaching the Carabao Cup final saw it postponed.

What time is kick-off?

Kick-off on Wednesday is at 8:00pm BST (3:00pm ET).

How can I follow along in the UK?

As with all matches, the club's radio commentary is available on MUTV. Another way you can follow the action as it unfolds is with the MEN's dedicated matchday blog, which starts four hours before kick-off and covers you throughout the 90 minutes and beyond with analysis, updates and reaction.
