Is Liverpool vs Bournemouth on TV? How to follow score, channel details and live commentary stream

Liverpool will hope to find their first win of the new season this weekend when they host Bournemouth at Anfield.

The Reds have just two points from their opening three matches after draws against Fulham and Crystal Palace were followed by Monday night's lacklustre defeat at Manchester United. Jurgen Klopp has been hampered by a growing injury list already this season and his side now sit seven points off Arsenal at the top and five points short of Manchester City.

But a return to Anfield, fans will hope, can spark the new campaign into life and newly-promoted Bournemouth make for encouraging visitors. Scott Parker's side started life back in the Premier League with a convincing win against Steven Gerrard's Aston Villa, but heavy defeats to Manchester City and Arsenal have given the Cherries a cold taste of reality in the top-flight.

Liverpool vs Bournemouth LIVE - score and live commentary

Liverpool have won all of the last six meetings between the two with an aggregate score of 19-1, and they won the last clash between the pair at Anfield 2-1 in 2020, with goals from Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.

The imperious form of Pep Guardiola's side already makes a game like today a must win, but equally important is a massive improvement in intensity, with Klopp's men already looking jaded just three games in. And ahead of what is a massive opportunity for the Reds, here's how you can follow the action.

What's the early team news?

Liverpool continue to be without several first-team players for the visit of Bournemouth this weekend, with Klopp admitting in his pre-game press conference that he will have the same squad available as for Monday's trip to Old Trafford.

Joel Matip and Curtis Jones are the pair closest to a return to play and could come back by the end of the month, but today's trip comes just too early. Meanwhile, the 'crazy' injury that sidelined Naby Keita for Monday's game remains a problem and he will again be unavailable.

Diogo Jota, Ibrahima Konate, Thiago Alcantara, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Caoimhín Kelleher and Calvin Ramsay are all injured, while Darwin Nunez will serve the second of his three-match ban for headbutting Joachim Andersen.

Teenage midfielder Fabio Carvalho could be set for a full debut after a couple of promising appearances off the bench, while talk of a formation change could see Klopp go to a 4-2-3-1.
