Early team news
Liverpool have taken a 37-man squad to Asia for their mini tour . Diogo Jota missed out against Manchester United but he was involved in the first training session in Singapore. However, it has now emerged he suffered a setback in the session and will now undergo further tests. Alisson Becker is also an injury doubt.
There were concerns going into the game against United that Darwin Nunez had a problem with his foot. Reds boss Jurgen Klopp confirmed afterwards Nunez was suffering from blisters but that he is otherwise fit to play.
Crystal Palace have only been able to name 10 senior players for Friday's encounter. Manager Patrick Vieira will be without some big names in Michael Olise, Wilfried Zaha, Christian Benteke, Marc Guehi, Eberechi Eze, Will Hughes, Jeffrey Schlupp and James McArthur. New signings Sam Johnstone and Cheick Doucoure also miss out.
Those who have not travelled will remain in London and undergo training sessions led by the Eagles assistant manager Osian Roberts. Palace confirmed those who are unavailable are either 'not currently fit' or did not meet the entry requirements for Singapore or Australia when their travel arrangements were made.
