Another one of Katya Jones ' Strictly partners seems to have fallen foul of the Strictly Curse as Adam Peaty has split from his girlfriend Eiri Munro after appearing on the show last year.
The Olympic swimmer apologised to his ex-girlfriend and their toddler son as he said in a statement: "Eiri and George, I’m sorry for letting you down."
Last year, Adam made headlines while competing in Strictly Come Dancing as he got very close to his dance partner, Katya.
The couple's Argentine Tango caused controversy when fans became convinced that they had seen Peaty "almost kiss" Katya at the end of the routine, as their lips were mere milimetres apart.
As speculation spiralled, Eiri joked about the situation on TikTok, captioning a video: "Watching your boyfriend almost kiss another woman on live tv… Finding out 10 million people also watched it live."
But Peaty denied the rumours of a romance with his Strictly partner, writing on Twitter : ”To everyone who wants to see what they want, your comments have real-life consequences. I will not be overcome or lowered by your gossip. Protect your energy.”

Opening up about her dating life in an interview with Hello! last year, the Strictly professional said: "I’ve not really gone into it. I just really wondered what other people did as well.
"It’s not something I’m sort of actively or proactively trying to do or to look for a person, absolutely not.
"This year has been more about recognising myself. I think for many people, it has been about reevaluating things and analysing their lives. You must come to this place of content first and happiness before I think about before going into a relationship."
Katya was previously married to fellow Strictly professional dancer Neil Jones.
The couple wed in 2013 and were married for six years before announcing their split in 2019.
Why did Katya Jones split from husband Neil?
Katya and Neil Jones' split was thought to be the result of the infamous Strictly Curse after Katya was involved in a kissing scandal with 2018 Strictly partner Seann Walsh.
However, Katya and Neil have both insisted it wasn't why their marriage ended.
Addressing the split, Neil told The Sun: "We found that we'd grown apart like people do, so we were like, 'OK, let's go our separate ways'. We are lucky that we don't have kids.
"It had nothing to do with what happened [with Seann]. We were moving in different directions but we are friends again now. Katya is a great girl and I've got nothing bad to say about her."
Katya and Sean were embroiled in one of Strictly's biggest scandals ever when photos of the pair kissing outside a pub were published.
The comedian was in a long-term relationship with actress Rebecca Humphries at the time and she dumped him as a result.
In a statement posted to Twitter, Rebecca revealed the photos had been taken on her birthday as she sat alone at home.
She said that Sean had denied anything inappropriate was happening, writing: “We spoke and I told him, not for the first time, that his actions over the past three weeks had led me to believe something inappropriate was going on.
“He aggressively, and repeatedly, called me a psycho/nuts/mental. As he has done countless time throughout our relationship when I’ve questioned his inappropriate, hurtful behaviour.”
But while Rebecca and Sean's relationship ended on bad terms, Katya and Neil have remained friendly since their split.
