Joy and James McAvoy are siblings with the Two Doors Down star (Michelle Ann Young) being the Hollywood actor's younger sister.
Joy, who was born in 1982, is also related to a half-brother named Donald.
She made her debut all the way back in 2003 when she appeared in a film called Jemima: Dating is Murder.
The star has also made appearances in a number of famous TV shows, including the Scottish detective series Taggart, the Glasgow soap opera River City and the comedy sketch show Only An Excuse.

According to Graeme Stevely (who played Alan on the show), there will be more episodes of Two Doors Down.
This comes after Doon Mackichan wrote on Instagram that the show was "ending for now" when the final episode of series seven aired in 2023.
