Could the Boston Celtics pull off what’s never been done before? The Celtics had their way in a 10-97 win over the Miami Heat in Game 5 of the 2023 Eastern Conference finals and now trail the Heat 3-2 after having gone down 0-3 in the series, a hole no team has ever emerged from victorious.
They are now the 15th team in NBA history to force a Game 6 after falling behind three games to none and have fans and analysts starting to believe that there is actually a chance for the Celtics to break one of the league’s more enduring records over the decades.
Among them are the hosts of the CLNS Media “Garden Report” podcast Bobby Manning and Sherrod Blakely, who made a case of why the pair think it is going to happen.
