The Scottish football season is BACK as competitive action returns to grounds up and down the country.
The Premier Sports Cup group stage takes centre stage for the 2022/23 campaign curtain raiser as the dream of lifting the trophy starts here. Hibs and Lee Johnson enter this stage of the competition with the Hibees faithful getting a first taste of what like under the new boss will be like when they face Clyde. Edinburgh rivals Hearts alongside Celtic, Rangers, Dundee United and Motherwell are given direct entry to the knockout stages due to their involvement in European competition.
Hibs are joined in Group D alongside the Bully Wee, Falkirk, Bonnyrigg Rose and Greenock Morton with a place in the knockout round of the tournament and top spot in the section the main target for Johnson and Co. The eight group winners and three best runners-up will secure passage to the last 16.

When is Hibs vs Clyde?
Hibs face Clyde on Saturday, 9 July.
The match will be played at Easter Road Stadium in Edinburgh.
Kick-off is at 3pm.
Is the match on TV?
Hibs vs Clyde is NOT live on TV.
Tickets for the match are available to purchase online. Both the lower tier of the West Stand and the East Stand will be open for home supporters.
Can I live stream it?
Hibs TV non-international subscribers can tune into live audio commentary on Hibs TV. International subscribers will be able to watch the game LIVE on the official club channel.
Supporters from both clubs can purchase a pay-per-view game pass for £12 (UK and Ireland only).

Lee Johnson has been running the rule over his new side over the latest few weeks in pre-season and could hand a number of his summer recruits competitive debuts.
The likes of David Marshall, Aiden McGeady, Jair Tavares and Lewis Miller have all joined as part of the large number of players who have put pen to paper on the dotted line.
Hibs fans can expect to see a number of the newbies in action at Easter Road as the new boss bids to get off to a flier and get the confidence high in the camp for the rest of the group stage campaign and Premiership opener.
