FIFA are yet to decide if players will face punishments for wearing the OneLove armbands at the World Cup in Qatar.
It comes ahead of England's tournament opener against Iran on Monday, with captain Harry Kane set to wear the armband with designs that support the LGBTQ+ community, though FIFA's rules state he could be given a yellow card straight away if he does.
England asked for confirmation of the rules from FIFA on Sunday evening but are yet to find out what the sanctions will be ahead of their opening game of the competition.

Wales captain Gareth Bale is also set to wear the armband, but teams could be put off it FIFA doesn't reverse its sporting sanctions on players that don the solidarity message to marginalised groups. The football organisation had announced other armband designs for the tournament but don't go as far as including the rainbow heart.
Captains of Germany, Netherlands, France, Belgium, Denmark and Switzerland are also ready to wear the armbands but will all await FIFA's decision in regards to England, who play first.
The rules state that the OneLove armband would be inappropriate equipment that hadn't been passed as fit to wear and that it could bring more than just financial repercussions - with the FA and other European governing bodies previously happy to pay if that was the case.
The threat of a yellow card at kick-off is a stronger clamp-down from FIFA though, especially as two yellow cards result in a one-game ban, meaning, in theory, that Kane could miss the final group game against Wales if he was to wear it against Iran and USA.
Kane remained defiant when speaking on the issue before the game, saying: "We've made it clear as a team and staff that we want to wear the armband."
Virgil van Dijk echoed those sentiments, adding: "I will wear the one love armband tomorrow. Nothing changed from our point of view. If I will get a yellow card for wearing it then we would have to discuss it because I don't like to play while being on a yellow [card]."
