What time is Burnley v Cardiff?

The game at Turf Moor kicks off at 3pm on Monday, May 8.

Is the game on TV?

The game hasn’t been picked for live coverage. You can follow live updates with us here.

What’s the team news?

Clarets boss Vincent Kompany hopes to have Nathan Tella available to face the Bluebirds.

The winger has been struggling with a hip injury he sustained last month.

The Belgian manager has also been managing the fitness of Swansea City loan man Michael Obafemi.

Lamouchi will be without Cedric Kipre who has undergone an operation on his mouth. Callum Robinson remains out, as do long-term absentees Jamilu Collins and Ebou Adams. Kion Etete, Joe Ralls, Callum O’Dowda and Ryan Allsop are all doubts

What have the managers said?

Kompany: “From the two sides, we’re now all of a sudden the one who definitely want to win this game. For us, it’s an important game. It’s the final game of the season, in front of our home fans. The trophy lift on top of it. We’re wanting to make a good day out of it.”

Lamouchi: “Cedric Kipre will not be in the game because he has a big operation this morning on his teeth, his mouth, he will not be available.

“Jaden and Kaba will go back to their clubs and I just want to say to them, ‘Thank you, you saved the club.’ Jaden, in the second half of the season, was unbelievable. Kaba scored important goals and Cedric was a rock in our defence.

“But West Brom, Aston Villa or the Danish club want them again, because they played well. So, they are happy with this loan, we made the job for them. They want them with the club or maybe to sell them somewhere else and we cannot buy any players at the moment. Kaba wants to stay, Kipre wants to stay, Jaden enjoyed playing with us, but it is what it is and we know the rules. Unfortunately they have to go.”
