Is Boston’s Jayson Tatum playing like an MVP?

The recent play of Jayson Tatum with the Boston Celtics early in the NBA’s 2023-24 season has sparked discussion about whether he is playing at a level that could have him among the leaders for the league’s 2023-24 Most Valuable Player (MVP) award.

Tatum’s standout performances, particularly in the fourth quarter of a recent game against the New York Knicks at TD Garden this past Monday, have impressed analysts and fans alike. The St. Louis native scored 17 points in the final period, contributing in a big way to the Celtics’ victory with a final score of 114-98.

Tatum’s ability to take over games in key moments and consistently deliver in the fourth quarter has people talking about his candidacy for the Association’s 2024 MVP award.

The hosts of ESPN’s “NBA Today” show weighed in on Tatum’s play of late; check it out above!
