Emmerdale viewers' latest fan theory predicts a blackmail twist as Billy ran over Alex and left him for dead in a shocking scene.
During tonight’s episode of the ITV hit soap Dawn and Billy were trying to gain legal custody of Dawn’s children, which she shares with ex boyfriend Alex.
Alex’s girlfriend Naomi encouraged him to go to the court hearing but his true colours showed as he broke into the pharmacy and stole lots of medication.

Since Alex never showed up to court, Billy and Dawn where given custody of Lucas and Clemmie. Back in the village, Charles had discovered the stolen drugs in Alex's car which resulted in Alex running away.
Alex finally confessed everything after Charles managed to track him down. The vicar was heartbroken to hear his daughter had been used.
Alex managed to escape from Charles and could be seen on the phone to his partner-in-crime Clare. Once he hung up.
He then stepped out into the road and was hit by a passing car. Viewers could see a figure walking towards Alex's lifeless body, before turning and running away.
It was revealed that Billy was the driver. He was forced to tell Dawn and insisted that he wanted to turn himself in, but Dawn stopped him from doing so.
Viewers are now convinced that Alex will make a full recovery and blackmail Billy and Dawn. @TwellyWatcher Tweeted: “Alex will most likely be dead I’m thinking #Emmerdale.”
