Irvine Meadow have this morning parted company with co-managers Colin Spence and James Latta by mutual consent.
The duo's departure comes on the back of yesterday's 3-0 Scottish Cup preliminary round replay defeat at Hill of Beath.
Club chairman Robert Jeffrey told Ayrshire Football News: "Colin contacted the club this morning to offer his and James resignations.
"The committee hastily convened and decided to accept their resignations.
"Unfortunately results have not been great this season and yesterday's defeat was a particularly tough one to take.
"We would like to thank both Colin and James for their hard work and wish them all the best for the future.
"The club will, in due course, begin advertising for a new manager and assistant manager."
Spence and Latta were appointed caretaker managers in January 2020 following the departure of Brian McGinty from the hot-seat. They were handed the job on a permanent basis a month later.
In their first season in charge, the league was stopped in January and ultimately declared null and void due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Last year, they led Meadow to an eighth placed finish in the 20-team West of Scotland Premier Division.
Meadow currently sit fourth bottom of the West of Scotland League Premier Division with three points from three games.
