A man was taken to hospital after a late-night assault in North Ayrshire.
The disturbance happened in Irvine's Warrix Avenue between 11pm and midnight on Saturday, March 4.
A 34-year-old man was injured as a result of what took place and transferred to Kilmarnock's Crosshouse Hospital for treatment.
Ayrshire police have this week confirmed enquiries are ongoing as an appeal for information was issued.
Detective Constable Sandy McBreen said: “I am appealing to anyone who witnessed a disturbance in Warrix Avenue late on Saturday evening to get in touch.
"Anyone with any information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting 0010 of 5 March, 2023.”
