British heavy metal band Iron Maiden on Thursday revealed plans for a world tour — including London and other UK cities — in 2025 and 2026 to commemorate their 50th anniversary.
The Run For Your Lives tour will only feature songs from their first nine studio albums between 1980 and 1992.
This period includes the classic Run To The Hills, The Trooper, Can I Play With Madness and Bring Your Daughter... To The Slaughter.
Iron Maiden have revealed only the UK and European dates for the tour, involving 27 stadiums between May and August 2025. Further dates for the rest of 2025 and 2026 are expected to include North America and other continents.
The band will play in UK cities including London, Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow, and Belfast.
The tour will begin in Budapest and Prague in May 2025 and include other European capitals such as Paris and Berlin.
American rockers Halestorm will be special guests for the first half of the tour, including the London and Dublin outdoor shows but not the UK arenas. Sweden’s Avatar will be the support act for the second half of the tour.
The British metal band, The Raven Age, will open all UK and Ireland shows.
