An Irishman will cycle 200km to raise funds for a cancer charity in memory of his young fiancée who died days before their wedding.
Kevin Cullen, 32, will begin a two-day charity cycle on Saturday, September 3 from Walkinstown in Dublin to Dungarvan in Waterford - the hometown of the late Aoife O'Donovan.
Finishing up on Sunday, Kevin will arrive at Abbeyside Church, where Aoife has been laid to rest.

She was diagnosed in November 2020 with a rare type of cervical cancer that was unfortunately not detected through regular smear tests.
Aoife sadly passed away in May this year, days before her 31st birthday and the couple's wedding day.
Though Aoife was a strong advocate for smear testing, she was particularly keen to raise awareness of how to recognise other symptoms that something may be amiss, the main one being irregular bleeding.
Following Aoife’s tragic passing, Kevin has been determined to raise funds for the Irish Cancer Society.
The GoFundMe for his cycle has raised over €27,500 to date, smashing its €10,000 goal.

Anyone wishing to support Kevin and the other cyclists in person can cheer them on at Abbeyside Church in Dungarvan, Waterford from 5pm Sunday.
