An Irishman has died following a hit-and-run in London on Monday morning.
The 62-year-old sadly passed away after a van collided with the pedestrian in Northumberland Park in Haringey, a north London borough.
Police and emergency services rushed to the scene at around 12.30am.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
A man in his 30s has been arrested after the van failed to stop following the incident.
Police launched an investigation, and the vehicle was found a short distance away.
In a statement, police said that “despite the efforts of emergency services, the pedestrian – a 62-year-old man – was pronounced dead at the scene”.
“The driver of the van did not stop at the scene,” the statement said.
“Following a police investigation, the van was found a short distance away.”
Any witnesses who have not yet come forward are asked to contact the police.
