Tributes have been paid to an Irish camogie player following her "untimely passing."
The sad news of the passing of Jean O'Loughlin has led to an outpouring of tributes for the young player from across Waterford GAA.
Waterford Camogie posted a tribute to her while expressing condolences to her family, friends, and clubmates at St Anne's Camogie and Football Clubs.

It said: "Waterford Camogie are deeply saddened on hearing of the untimely passing of Jean O’Loughlin.
"We extend our deepest sympathy to Jean’s parents, Pauline & Paul, her brother Ben, her extended family & all her clubmates at St Anne’s Camogie and Football Clubs.
"Rest in peace Jean."
Jean's club, St Anne's Camogie, posted a tribute her on social media. It said: "It is with great sadness that we learned of the death of Jean O'Loughlin following a short illness. Jean played underage for St.Anne’s for many years and was an active playing member for St.Anne’s in adult LGF and Camogie this year.
"Her sudden passing, at such young age, has come as a great shock to us all.
"We extend our deepest sympathy to her parents, Pauline and Paul, her brother Ben, her extended family, her teammates and her wide circle of friends. Rest in peace Jeanie."
Waterford LGFA also tweeted: "As a mark of respect for the late Jean O'Loughlin of @StAnnesCamogLgf a minute's silence will be observed at the Senior Final today.
"Our condolences to Jean's family, friends, & clubmates. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam."
Upon hearing of her tragic death, the GAA community up and down the country expressed similar sentiments of support.
Monaghan GAA Supporters tweeted: "Condolences to her family, friends and teammates at this difficult time."
While one person wrote: "Rest in Peace young lady. Condolences to family and friends."
And another person added: "R.I.P. Jean, deepest condolences to Jean’s family, relatives and friends."
Another Déise club in Fenor also commented: "RIP Jean. Sincere condolences to all her family, friends, and clubmates."
