Love Island has been streamed over 12.1M times on the Virgin Media player since the show began earlier this summer.
As series 8 comes to an end, the Ballymount-based broadcaster revealed the hit summer show was streamed a whopping 12.1M times since the show began on June 6.
The final episode of the dating series sees Ekin-Su Culculoglu and Davide Sanclimenti, Gemma Owen and Luca Bish, Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page, and Indiyah Polack and Ireland's Dami Hope battle it out for the title and to take home the £50,000 prize.

The show has been watched by millions in recent years but has also attracted controversy amid concerns for the well-being of some previous contestants.
This year's hotly anticipated reunion will air on Sunday, August 7 at 9pm on Virgin Media.
The Love Island final airs tonight at 9pm on Virgin Media Two and Virgin Media Player.
