Limerick teenager Dara Costelloe has signed a new contract with Burnley after making the Clarets' bench for the last seven games of the Premier League season.
The 19-year-old has had a successful two years with the club at under-23 level and was their top scorer at that age grade last term with 12 goals.
Costelloe, who can play on the wing or up front as a striker, joined the Clarets from Galway United, having made his senior debut for the Tribesmen as a 15-year-old against Finn Harps in 2018.
With Burnley relegated to the Championship at the end of last term, he will be hoping for first team game time early next season.
"I'm buzzing, I can't wait to get started and see what the season holds," Costelloe said.
"Last season went well for me so I want to kick on, see what this season has to offer and hopefully make a name for myself.
"There's exciting times ahead here, it's a club with ambition so I'm pleased to sign a new contract. I just can't wait to get started again."
