Irish Rail have warned commuters that their schedules will be impacted this Bank Holiday weekend.
Due to track and lineside works at the Malahide to Drogheda route between 4th and 6th February, there will be some major changes of the schedule, with some services even suspended. “Northern Commuter services are suspended throughout the weekend,” the operator warned. “A limited bus transfer will operate to and from Connolly Station, serving Malahide, Donabate, Balbriggan and Drogheda only.”
A revised timetable will be in place, and customers should check the times before travelling. Additionally, pre-booking for Intercity travel is “strongly advised”, especially for the busier times of the day.

Iarnrod Eireann also said Dublin to Belfast Enterprise services will also be impacted and will operate with bus transfers in both directions between Dublin Connolly and Drogheda. The national railway network operator apologised to customers for “the inconvenience caused by these essential works”.
