Irish paranormal investigators have shared footage of what they believe to be a ‘child ghost’ at Ducketts Grove last week.
The group, known as Paranormal Supernatural Investigations on Facebook, were given permission to investigate the magnificent location where they had a number of sightings.
As they headed down to Carlow last Tuesday to look deeper into the activity at the historic castle - once home to the Duckett family - a spokesperson for the group wrote: “Our first main investigation of the year kicked of here at Ducketts Grove last night.

“A huge thank you to Carlow County Council for giving us permission to investigate at this magnificent location.
“The weather conditions was perfect for a Paranormal Investigation. Overall the night was active, we will be posting our findings in the next few days”.
They used a new device (Phasmatron-GD-2000) “which proved popular in the investigation,” and helped them capture some pretty terrifying 'ghost' sightings.
Sharing the first image, which appears to show a figure looking at the camera, they explained: “Whilst we we're walking around the side of Ducketts Grove the Phasmatron was pointing to the side of the building and had activated.
“This then narrowed down the area for us to focus our equipment on. This picture was taken at that exact area from the member of the public.
“We were all astonished when we all viewed this picture”.
The second image was shared later and they describe it as “a picture that we believe is a ghost of a child that we're taken at Duckett's Grove last Tuesday 17th January 2023”.
Speaking about past nights at the castle the spokesperson said: “Ducketts Grove would be in the top 3 locations for PSI Ireland in regards to carrying out Paranormal Investigation's.
“One week ago we investigated here, and we would have to say that Ducketts Grove is very active in Paranormal Terminology.
“We had a very interesting and eventful night. We used a few devices that we believed would be of a beneficial benefit to the investigation.
“One of those devices was the magenta light as you can see in the picture”.
