Irish mother goes viral after her 'nosey' questions when son's friend 'attacked with sword'

Irish mothers are known for their nosey streak, but one TikToker has proven the point by recording a hilarious video showing just how nosey mothers can be.

In the video, Ben Williams (benwilliams606) pretended to be on the phone with a friend when they revealed that they had been hit.

He said: “Hello, yeah, I’m just sitting with me ma. You’re after getting hit? You alright?”

Ben's mother, who was sitting across from him on the couch scrolling her phone, instantly looks up and asks: "Who’s that? Who’s that?”

Pretending to continue the conversation on the phone, Ben whispers to his mother: "Don’t be nosey”.

He then says in a shocked voice: “You’re going to the hospital."

The mother then grows more concerned, asking: "Ben, who's that on the phone?”

To which he replies: "It doesn’t matter”.

Growing more frustrated to know who her son is talking to, Ben's mother says: "Who’s that?”

He then says: “Why ye being nosey?”

The enquiries continued as Ben’s mother repeatedly tried to find out who he was on the phone to as he kept telling his mother that she was just being nosey.

Asking what his friend was hit with, Ben answered his mother saying: "A sword”.

To which she replied: “F*** off. Who is it? Is he alright? Who hit him with a f***ing sword? Answer me, who is it?!”

The video has been viewed over 470,000 times and has over 58,000 likes.

Viewers found the video absolutely hilarious and commented how their mothers would react in the exact same way.

One user said: “Every Irish mammy when they hear there kids talking”.

Another said: “The way she looks after you say ye after getting hit”.

Others praised the mother for her hilarious reaction.

They said: “She’s an icon”.

While another said: “Love her”.
