Love Island star Maura Higgins’ relationship is on the rocks after an explosive row over Curtis’ advice to Islander Jordan Hames.

Now the Irish beauty’s hopes of winning the show are in jeopardy as she casts doubt over her romance with the professional dancer.

The Longford lass was left fuming after learning it was her partner who told Jordan to express his feelings to new girl India despite asking Anna to be his girlfriend two days ago.

Speaking in the beach hut, Maura said: “For Curtis to give that advice to Jordan, it baffles me.

“If he was my boyfriend, is that what he would do? Would he pull a girl before chatting to his girlfriend?”

(ITV)

An annoyed Curtis has it out with the 28-year-old grid girl for storming off and telling Anna about Jordan’s intentions to tell India how he feels before coming clean to his new partner.

Having pulled Maura aside, Curtis said: “All I wanted to do was talk to you and get your opinion.

“He is brave for doing it. He’s only just had these feelings now.”

But despite later telling Maura he thinks he has given the wrong advice, Maura stands up for her pal and said: “She’s my friend. I care about her.

“I’m angry that he asked her to be his girlfriend a few days ago and now he’s cracking on with someone else.

“That’s cheating Curtis. Would you do the same thing if I was your girlfriend?”

(ITV)

Later while alone, Maura ponders Curtis’ actions and tells cameras: “After listening to her [Anna], I have a slight worry.”

Maura makes a statement by leaving Curtis alone in bed and chooses to sleep outside with Anna.

A heartbroken Anna reveals to the rest of the girls that she’ll never speak to Curtis again after.

However, Curtis attempts to make amends with Anna and apologises to her for giving his advice to Jordan.

But Anna doesn’t accept the apology, she said: “I don’t know if you’re a good person.

“A good person would never tell someone to do that to their other half.

“Do you not care about me one tiny bit? I’ve been living with you for two months.”

And having spent some hours apart, Jordan comes to Anna to say sorry and admits he should have spoken to her before pulling India aside to tell her he had feelings for her.

But Anna tells him he doesn’t understand why she is so upset and is missing the point of her frustration.

She said: “You shouldn’t have pulled me first. You shouldn’t have asked me to be your girlfriend!

“You shouldn’t have lied to me for the past three weeks.”

Love Island airs tonight at 9pm on Virgin Media Two.
