Irish Love Island fans left raging as they beg producers to change 'unfair' rules

Love Island's Irish fans have been left fuming as they are excluded from voting - despite there being an Irish contestant in the villa.

Voting for the reality dating show takes place on the Love Island app, which is not available outside the UK, meaning fans in the Republic of Ireland are cut off from having a say in the public vote.

Irish viewers took to social media to beg ITV producers to change the 'unfair' rules to allow them to vote for their favourite contestants, including Dubliner Dami Hope who is coupled up with Amber Beckford.

One person wrote: "Petition to have the @LoveIsland app available in Ireland please. What's the point of Irish contestants if we can't vote #LoveIsland".

Another fan of the show said: "Okay but when are the producers finally gonna let Irish people vote we are holding up the love island fan base #LoveIsland".

A third added: "If #LoveIsland has irish contestants in it then irish viewers should be allowed vote in the app like everybody else!!! this exclusion is unfair @LoveIsland".
