German grocery giant ALDI is planning to add 360 new jobs throughout its Irish stores.
ALDI’s plans for the year include a recruitment drive across its entire network and a commitment to becoming the first supermarket to adopt the new Living Wage on February 1, increasing its minimum pay to €13.85 per hour.
Aldi UK and Ireland Group Managing Director, Niall O’Connor said: “We are continuing to reinvest in Ireland by creating and maintaining jobs throughout the country and adopting the minimum wage for colleagues."

The retailer also signalled its ambition to fast track its Dublin expansion plan, which will see 11 new stores open across the next five years with the first of those, in Adamstown, due to open in the coming weeks.
This store represents the first store opening in Dublin since the grocer announced its €73 million investment plans for the capital.
As part of the 360 new jobs to be added across the country, the family-owned multinational discount supermarket has launched a recruitment campaign to hire new colleagues.
Last November, 450 people were hired by Aldi in Ireland.
The new jobs have come from an ongoing expansion of the store's network and the demand the retailer is seeing in the market.
Mr O' Connor concluded: "Delivering value and choice convenient to customers has never been more important, as the survey findings show, and we are more committed than ever to continuing to deliver value for Ireland.”
