Talents from the Northern Irish film and TV industry have been recognised at the IFTA Awards 2023.
Over the past few months, Irish Academy Members have been busy viewing, deliberating, and shortlisting the very best work from across great Irish films, dramas, performances, and craftsmanship from the past year.
With films and stars from both sides of the border being recognised on the worldwide stage at the likes of the Oscars this year, it is no surprise these names have been selected for the top accolades.

Northern Irish actors, writers and directors have been nominated across four major categories at this year's Irish Film and Television Awards.
They include:
- Liam Neeson - Lead Actor (Marlowe)
- Derry Girls - Best Drama (The Agreement Extended Special)
- Lisa McGee - Script Drama (Derry Girls: The Agreement Extended Special)
- An Irish Goodbye - Best Live-Action Short Film
Irish Film and Television Academy CEO, Áine Moriarty said: "What an exciting time right now for the Irish screen industry. This superb line-up of Nominees in the running for Irish Academy Awards, showcases to the world the high calibre of acting, filmmaking and storytelling we have in this country.

The 20th IFTA Awards will take place on Sunday, May 7 ,2023.
