Ireland will be struck by gale force winds and heavy rain showers on Wednesday, with the nasty weather set to continue as we head towards the weekend.
A status yellow weather warning is in place for four counties, with it set to kick in at around midday.
Donegal, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo are all at the mercy of the eight-hour wind warning - but it looks like the rest of the country could face a battering as well.

Anyone who fancies themselves as a storm-catcher will need the camera ready on Wednesday, as there's a chance of lightning according to Met Éireann's latest update.
They've said it'll be: "Windy today with widespread heavy showers, merging to longer spells of rain in places, with the chance of hail and lightning. Westerly winds will increase strong to near gale force and gusty, with some severe gusts, especially along Atlantic coasts. Some sunny spells too though; brightest in the southeast."
Things get a bit nippy on Wednesday night, as the rain is set to be confined to northern areas, leaving dry, clear skies for the res of the country.
Thursday will bring "a mix of sunny spells and scattered showers, with a chance of hail or sleet on high ground", and there's still a warning about wind chill in the latest prediction from the national forecaster.
After a frosty night on Thursday which will see wintry showers on some coasts as temperatures plunge to -2C, Friday will see a "mix of sunny spells and scattered showers, with the chance of some wintry showers, mainly on hills and mountains"
