Weather expert Alan O'Reilly said however, that next week there could be a drop in temperatures as Northerly winds blow over Ireland.
"Some better news in the weather outlook with Friday Saturday looking better and very little rainfall, rain Sunday but next week sees high pressure trying to build in close to Ireland with less rainfall," he wrote on Carlow Weather twitter account..
"Exact details for next week a little uncertain but far less showery looking, however winds look likely to be Northerly with cooler air over us."
