Met Eireann has predicted scorching temperatures Saturday but a major change is coming for next week.
The weather is set to be humid and cloudy on Saturday, with occasional outbreaks of rain, but temperatures could reach up to 24C or 25C.
However, a weather expert has predicted that low pressure will cause temperatures to drop from Sunday, with much cooler air arriving and Met Eireann has forecasted potentially heavy showers into next week.

Alan O'Reilly, who runs the Carlow Weather Twitter account, wrote: "The weather models show warm air over us next the few days with temperatures peaking on Saturday at around 25c but then dropping back quickly and cooler air moving in for next week.
"The models also favour low pressure winning out over Ireland with an unsettled week next week and also possibly unsettled start to July.
"Disappointing for those looking for settled weather but beyond the end of month is still uncertain."
In terms of the forecast for the week ahead, Met Eireann said there is more rain to come as it will stay "unsettled for the weekend and into next week with outbreaks of rain or showers, potentially turning heavy at times".
In today's weather, the national forecaster said there will be good spells of sunshine just a few isolated showers, with temperatures reaching up to 24C - and hottest in the Midlands.
Giving a day-by-day breakdown of the week, Met Eireann continued: “Dry for most areas on Thursday with just a few isolated showers, mainly in northern parts this evening. Good spells of sunshine as well, turning a bit hazy later in the day. Highest temperatures of 20 to 24 degrees, warmest in the midlands, in light southerly breezes.
Mostly dry at first Thursday night, although patchy outbreaks of rain will arrive to western areas early in the night and extend across the country by morning. Overnight temperatures will stay warmer than in recent nights, only falling to around 15 or 16 degrees. Light to moderate southerly breezes, turning fresh at times along Atlantic coasts.
On Friday, mostly cloudy with scattered outbreaks of rain throughout the day. Somewhat humid as well with highest temperatures of 19 to 23 degrees. Light to moderate southerly breezes.
Remaining cloudy and humid on Friday night with scattered outbreaks of rain. Overnight temperatures not falling below 15 to 17 degrees in light southerly breezes.
Staying humid Saturday with occasional outbreaks of rain, most frequent in western parts later in the day. Most areas will be cloudy with the best of any sunshine in the east and northeast. Highest temperatures of 19 to 24 degrees in light to moderate southerly breezes.
Rain will turn persistent and potentially heavy over much of the west and midlands overnight on Saturday while parts of the east will remain dry until morning. Lowest temperatures of 13 to 16 degrees in light to moderate southerly breezes, veering westerly by morning.
A dull and wet start Sunday with widespread outbreaks of rain. The rain will clear to scattered showers by the afternoon, some of which may be heavy or thundery. Some sunny spells will develop as well. Temperatures will be a bit cooler than in previous days with highs of 17 to 21 degrees in mainly light westerly breezes.
Mostly cloudy with scattered showers on Monday, merging to longer spells of rain in the west later in the day. Maximum temperatures of 16 to 18 degrees in light southwesterly breezes.
Early indications are that it will remain unsettled through mid-week with further spells of rain or showers expected.
