Ireland is set to see more good weather as sunshine blasts the country and temperatures climb to 17 degree Celsius.
Met Eireann has forecast a sunny day today and conditions look as though they will remain until the weekend.
However, the forecaster has warned that a change will arrive on Saturday as things before slightly duller and showers become more widespread.

A forecaster said: “Uncertainty around Saturday remains but risk of rain has increased. Amounts and timing are different across models. These 4 images show forecast for 3pm Saturday from 4 different weather models.”

Sunny spells today with temperatures of 12 to 17 degrees, coolest in the northeast and mildest in the west and southwest, in light easterly breezes.
Dry and mostly clear overnight. Lowest temperatures of 1 to 5 degrees in light variable breezes. Some mist and fog patches will develop towards dawn, clearing quickly with the rising sun.
Thursday, April 28
Sunny spells again on Thursday and staying mostly dry. Highest temperatures of 12 to 17 degrees in mostly light easterly or variable breezes.
Dry, clear and cold overnight. Mist and fog patches will form again with light breezes or near calm conditions. Lowest temperatures of 1 to 3 degrees.
Friday, April 29
No change on Friday, another dry and sunny start to the day. Once again, cloud will bubble up along with an isolated light shower. Highest temperatures of 13 to 16 degrees in light variable breezes.
Overnight temperatures on Friday night will generally range 1 to 5 degrees but a little milder in the northwest as cloud builds in during the night.

Saturday, April 30
We'll see a change on Saturday, it'll be a largely cloudy day with light rain and drizzle. Highest temperatures of 12 to 15 degrees in light variable breezes, the higher values in the east this time and it won't be cold overnight, temperatures will stop falling at 7 to 9 degrees.
Sunday, May 1
A few showers on Sunday too with light variable breezes and temperatures of 14 to 16 degrees.
The further outlook suggests largely dry weather with sunny spells and isolated showers with temperatures gradually starting to rise and the end of the cold nights for a time.
