Met Eireann has forecast a mixed bag of conditions for the bank holiday weekend with showers at times - and a washout day on Monday.
The warmest conditions over the weekend will be felt across the south and east of Ireland with temperatures reaching highs of 23C.
Saturday and Sunday will see occasional outbreaks of rain and showers but the bank holiday Monday is set to be blasted with heavy downpours.
Friday will have a largely dry start to the day but it will turn cloudier in the afternoon with scattered showers in the West turning into heavier rain by the evening.
Temperatures will be warmest in the east and will range in the low twenties across the country from 19 to 23C.

Saturday will be rather cloudy with occasional rain or showers, but there is hope for some longer drier spells with some warm sunshine in the eastern parts of the country. Top temperatures of 18 to 23 degrees are expected and it will be warmest in the southeast and east.
Saturday night will bring scattered outbreaks of rain with the heaviest rain in the south of the country.
Sunday will be a mix of sunny spells and well scattered showers, with the heaviest rain in the south of the country.
Maximum temperatures will range from 17 to 23 degrees, and will be warmest in southern counties in light northwest or variable winds.
There will be a mostly dry and calm start to Sunday night, but more rain will begin to move in across the southern half of the country later in the night.
As for the bank holiday Monday, it is expected to be a cloudy and damp day with rain turning heavy throughout the day.
A Met Eireann forecaster said: “Current indications are that Monday will be mostly dull with outbreaks of rain moving up across the country, turning heaviest in the afternoon and evening, with hill, mist and coastal fog too. Highest temperatures will range 17 to 22 or 23 degrees, in light to moderate southwest breezes.
"Monday night will be damp, locally wet and breezy, all in moderate to fresh southwest winds. Warm and muggy too with lowest temperatures of 14 to 18 degrees."
