Ireland vs France live stream — how to watch Six Nations 2025 match online now, team news

Damian Penaud of France runs with the ball during a Guinness Six Nations 2025 match in February.

Ireland vs France FREE live streams

The Ireland vs France live stream on the penultimate weekend of the 2025 Six Nations was always predicted as a likely tournament decider and so it has proved. A win for the home side would put one hand on the trophy for a record third time in a row, but if les Bleus emerge victorious then they're back in touching distance to the title and will set up a mouthwatering finale next week.

Ireland vs France 2025 Six Nations is free to watch in the UK and Ireland, and from anywhere in the world by using a VPN, if you're away from home. It's Peacock TV and DAZN in the USA and Canada respectively. Down Under, it's Stan Sport in Australia and Sky Sport in New Zealand.

Ireland vs France live stream: preview

This 2025 Six Nations game between Ireland and France will take place at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin. The match kicks off on Saturday, March 8 at 2.15pm GMT / 9.15am ET / 3.15am AEDT (Sun.).

Interim coach Simon Easterby's much-changed side sealed the Triple Crown last time out but were made to work by a resurgent Wales in a 27-18 victory at the Millennium Stadium in which Garry Ringrose received a red card. Sam Prendergast's boot and Jamie Osborne's second-half try proved the difference between the sides as the Irish welcome back captain Caelan Doris to the back row. Peter O'Mahony, Cian Healy and Conor Murray will all play their final home tests after announcing their international retirements when the tournament ends. After missing out on the Grand Slam last year, the Irish will be determined to stay at 100% in search for a record third title in a row.

France's record-breaking 74-23 destruction of Italy two weeks ago featured 11 tries and some scintillating rugby among the backs in particular. Fabien Galthie has again decided to go for a 7-1 split between forwards and backs on his bench as the French version of the Bomb Squad seeks to disrupt the Irish in their own backyard. Try-scoring machine Damian Penaud returns to the side that seeks to take the championship to a mouthwatering final weekend with a win.

There’s an increasing chance of a shower in Dublin as the potential title decider progresses, but whatever the weather conditions this has the potential to be an absolute cracker. The atmosphere is building, so make sure you’re in front of a screen and catch every second of the action.

You can watch all 2025 Six Nations games online for FREE, including this one. So keep reading to discover where to live stream Ireland vs France in your country and from anywhere in the world.
