The Republic of Ireland host France in a notable start to their European qualifying campaign.

Stephen Kenny's side won 3-2 last Wednesday in a friendly against Latvia at the Aviva Stadium.

The French convincingly defeated fellow Group B rivals Netherlands by four goals on Friday night with goals from Antoine Griezmann, Dayot Upamecano and a double from Kylian Mbappe.
